If this is 1967 it is likely to be this as it was clearly sponsored by THE SUN (see banners / hoardings through footage)- it was held at Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Bte too the german flag shown near the end of the footage - the winner was Germany - confirmation that this is the same event!! Details of the 1967 Event: This was the ninth race in the series counting towards the year's World Championship. Winner: Paul Friedrichs of East Germany, the reigning world champion, won the race on a CZ, taking home "The Sun" Trophy. Thirty-eight riders from eleven countries participated in the event, which took place on a one-and-a-quarter-mile circuit.
