ELIMINATING FAULTS IN THE MOTORCYCLE EXAM a) Starting the test without a properly adjusted helmet or without a visor or goggles. b) Failing to follow the pre-established route. c) Knocking over one or more traffic cones. d) Falling from the vehicle during the test. e) Not maintaining balance on the board, stepping off it sideways. f) Missing a mandatory stop. g) Placing your foot(s) on the ground while the vehicle is moving. h) Causing an accident during the test. i) Committing any other very serious traffic violation. SERIOUS OFFENSES (THREE POINTS) a) Failing to place one foot on the ground and the other on the brake pedal when stopping the vehicle. b) Invading any lane during the test. c) Incorrectly signaling or failing to signal at all. d) Driving the test with the headlights off. e) Committing any other serious traffic violation. MEDIUM OFFENSES (TWO POINTS) a) Improperly using equipment. b) Engaging or using inappropriate gears during the test. c) Failing to retract the kickstand or vehicle kickstand before starting the test. d) Stopping the engine without just cause after the test has started. e) Driving the vehicle during the test without holding the handlebars with both hands, except when indicating maneuvers. f) Committing any other minor traffic violation.
