Even after taking on the role following his father’s death, he remained a devoted and loving father. But Lorcan’s shadow was already reaching for him. Everything changed after the death of his children. The loss shattered something deep within him, marking the beginning of a profound transformation he would never return from. Lorcan orchestrated the murder of Lon’s two children—Aie and Rue—when they were three years old (cat age). Their bodies were left at the edge of Lon’s territory as a deliberate act of humiliation.
