Shoe Last Duplicator - Initial Shaping

This is a shoe last duplicator of my own design. It uses a small router to duplicate a last either creating an exact copy or, as in this video, a mirror image. The positioning of the follower on the left determines the depth of cut on the right. In this case, this is an initial shaping so extra material is left intentionally. Reduction to final size can be done on the duplicator followed up by finishing on a sanding drum. The duration of this video in real time is around 40 minutes.
