A sliding interval catarrh clearing vocal warm up | MusicForMy... VOICE Sing'n'Mix

This vocal exercise works wonders for clearing any nasty gunky catarrh from the vocal chords, that's gentle on them while doing it. Slides are also a fab way to smooth over pasaggio (voice register breaks) so this warm up is a double whammy. Oh, and it'll warm your voice up too... In this video we will first off prep our breath (always, this is the most vital part!) with some inhales and exhales before we get to the good stuff. We sing an ooh vowel and slide up a third, a fourth and then a fifth making sure we are singing through every sing super mini micro tone between those intervals. We strengthen and move through the pasaggio by working our way up and down the piano. The most important part of this exercise is the slide, exaggerate that slide! This video is part of the MusicForMy... Sing'n'Mix, a pick'n'mix of 5 minute vocal warm ups that you can build your own warm up sessions with. Do one, do five, whatever you have time for. They are all guaranteed to grow your voice. New videos come every week so let me know in the comments what you'd like to hear about (Technique? Song breakdowns? Singer analysis?) We're a democracy at MusicForMy... so you get to chose! MusicForMy... is the best online singing club for growing your voice without the hefty price tag.
