As the Member Secretary of the Institute of Odia Studies and Research, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Prusty has played a pivotal role in advocating for Classical Language status for Odia, the formation of the Central Institute of Classical Odia and Odia University, and the implementation of the Odisha Official Language Act, 1954.
