Innocent looking, but ????
This is an innocent-looking integral but it's actually dangerous. The integral of 1/x^2 from -2 to 1 is a type 2 improper integral because it has a vertical asymptote on the interval of integration. This improper integral actually diverges! Be careful with the criteria when we use the fundamental theorem of calculus part 2. #calculus #apcalculus #blackpenredpen ☀️ Check out "the debate", integral of 1/x from -1 to 1, • Improper integral of 1/x from -1 to 1 (THE... ☀️support this channel on Patreon: / blackpenredpen Subscribe to @blackpenredpen for more fun math videos.
