"The Indian Companion" May Allah be pleased with him. I visited the resting place of Cheraman Perumal, later known as "Taj Uddin", may Allah be pleased with him, in Salalah Oman. He converted from Hinduism to Islam after witnessing the moon split from his palace in Kerala, Southern India, and then travelling to Madinah to meet the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. On his way back to India, he passed away in Salalah, Oman and is buried in a tomb which is not known very well.
