Template Tuesdays - X18's New Project Information

TEMPLATE TUESDAYS LIVE... PROJECT INFORMATION Chief Architect X18 introduces Project Information, a powerful new system that lets you create custom fields that can be referenced anywhere throughout your plans and layouts. Instead of typing the same information over and over, you can define it once and have it populate automatically throughout your project. Better yet, you can create your own custom categories and fields to fit the way you work. In this live stream, we'll explore how Project Information works and begin building a scalable system that I'll be incorporating into future versions of my templates. We'll cover... • Understanding the new Project Information system • Creating custom categories and fields • Storing project-wide information in a single location • Referencing Project Information anywhere in plan views • Using the same information throughout layout pages • Building reusable template systems around global data • Ideas for automating labels, notes, schedules, and title blocks • Organizing information for residential design workflows • Planning a system that can grow with your projects I'll also be sharing how I intend to implement this feature into my own templates as part of future releases.
