SAMSUN MÜZELERİ | TARİHE TANIKLIK EDECEKSİNİZ

While researching places to visit in Samsun, I realized that, aside from the Gazi Museum and the Archaeological Museum, which our primary school took us to, I hadn't visited any museums in Samsun. So, I decided to visit the museums with my children, to both learn and teach. My research revealed that I wasn't aware of the City Museum, which opened in 2013, the Sadi Lodge and Kuva-i Milliye Museum, which opened in 2016, or the Surgical Instruments and Health Museum, which opened in 2021. I decided we needed to visit these museums immediately. Of course, another important museum I'd show my children was the Gazi Museum. Every May 19th, when we talk about the Turkish War of Independence, I couldn't resist showing them the place and belongings of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha when he visited Samsun. 1. Gazi Museum 2.
