When the Dave Clark 5 was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, many music fans could be forgiven if they had forgotten who they were….. Unlike many other British Invasion bands of the 60s, the DC5’s music was not as accessible or prevalent over the previous few decades….. their hits did not show up on compilations and there were no grand “reunion specials” to watch on television…… The reason for this was the tight control and strange secrecy of the group’s founder and leader, Dave Clark, who, himself, is shrouded in mystery…..
