Belzona Composite Patch

This video shows an example of a Belzona Super-Metal Composite patch on an atmospheric vessel. Belzona's engineering grade metal repair/rebuilding compounds allow for rehabilitation and repairs instead of costly replacements. Description: Belzona 9611 (previously 1291) ES-Metal: (00:20 min) Comes in a tube, cut off and knead to activate. Can be used to plug live leaks, allowing proper composite patch to be applied over it. MBX Bristle Blaster: (00:45 min) Used to develop 2-3mil anchor profile similar to grit blasting. Belzona 1121 Super XL-Metal: (01:04 min) Engineering grade cold bond and rebuilding/repair compound. Used to fill pits and create composite patch over defects in all manner of equipment. Can be machined or drilled/tapped once cured. Many Super Metal variations are available including underwater/oil tolerant, ceramic filled, etc.. Belzona 9341 Reinforcement Tape: (02:20 min) Saturated with paste grade (in this case Belzona 1121) on a clean mixing board, then transferred to application area, firmly pressed or wrapped into place. Overlap pieces by 50% if necessary to cover a larger area. Minute 02:38: Top layer of rebuilding/repair compound. Minute 03:24: Pull tape, smooth edges. Can be painted over wet on wet. Can be allowed to cure until touch dry and sanded to smooth out imperfections. Ideal overall thickness on a repair is 0.25 inches
