Try to center your head; if you are constantly leaning or looking to one side, it will eventually cause pain in your neck and shoulders. The Price excerpt was a little slow and heavy handed - make it more fun and carefree! You are often very into the string, try more heavy off the string at the frog, using the natural weight and letting it fall to create articulation. Reviewer B In the Saint-Saens, the rubato was personalized and there was a good range of intensity that added to the drama of the work. Practice with a metronome to better coordinate the bow strokes with the left hand, and consider optional fingering options to ensure that sustained notes support the intended phrasing intention. The quality of sound in the Rimsky-Korsakov solo was clear and beautiful.
