Missouri National Guard rescues more than 200 from flooded camp
More than 200 children and staff were airlifted to safety after historic flooding trapped them at a southeastern Missouri summer camp. Eight Missouri National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crews evacuated campers and staff from Camp Taum Sauk on Friday, July 10, transporting them to a designated safe location in Arcadia after flash flooding inundated the area.
