If Wolves Could Flute

This video started as a simple recording of an end of class group play for my students, known as Willow Winders, to let off steam after a hard night's work. This class ranged from beginner to seasoned, and some borrowed my flutes to play in keys they had never played before. I shared the recording with my friend Tommy, of Tommy Graven Coyote Song Productions, who heard the sounds of wolves. Wolves have many distinct voices, from the iconic lone wolf, to the call of the hunt, contact calls, submissive calls, and whimpers. Tommy and I collaborated on this overlaying video and audio of real wolves calling, on top of our flute song. Open your mind, envision the famous wolves of Yellowstone, and just imagine "If Wolves Could Flute."
