Is “The Life of Pablo” Kanye’s Most Underrated Album? The Life of Pablo was released on February 14th, 2016 and celebrates its 5th year anniversary in 2021. This was one of Kanye’s most controversial releases so it’s interesting to revisit the project and rank it within his discography.The album is famous for all of the changes that Kanye West made to it before it’s release and even after the album was already out. Kanye West has described the album as a “gospel hip hop album with a lot of swearing”. It might be Kanye’s rawest and messiest album but his ability to change mood from one track to next is inspiring. Some of the most memorable tracks on The Life of Pablo include Ultralight Beam, Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1, No More Parties in L.A & Famous where Kanye West addresses the infamous Taylor Swift VMA’s situation.
