United Airlines 'Famous Island Hopper' Guam to Kosrae Micronesia FAIL! #stranded #unitedairlines

Welcome back as we take the Famous Island Hopper to the Jewel of Micronesia! We flew in a for day to do some work on Island, strolled a bit around the Island before heading to the Airport to catch our flight back to Pohnpei for 3 days, so we thought. See how we land and take off at each Island such an experience! UA155 Starts from Guam International Airport then stops by Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae, Kwajalen, Majuro and then Hawaii. The return flight is UA154 Hawaii, Majuro, Kwaj, Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk then to Guam. The hopper is an awesome flight as you stop by these beautiful Islands in Micronesia and is the only flight getting there. We booked at Nautilus Resort (highly recommended) met some great friendly staff and became friends overnight. Awesome isnt it. We strolled a bit around the Island checking out its beauty and we cant wait to return. We checked in at the Airport and saw our flight landing, we boarderd but didnt take off,, stayed on the runway a few hours before the pilot announced we can not take off. So we returned back to the tarmac and waited in the Airport before they released us to go back to a Hotel. Many passengers were pissed off because the Island is limited in Hotels and rooms. Most stayed at the Airport overnight. The rescue plane did come the next day and took us straight back to Guam instead of continuing its hop. Long story short we had accommodations booked in Pohnpei since we were supposed to be there the next day. We had to re-booked our Pohnpei business trip at our own expense since United says they cover up to 10 days for a return ticket. My question is: this is the Hopper and most reservations are fully booked within that time frame! we couldn't get a flight within that. I had to rebook our accommodations and flight to Pohnpei at our companies expense and its all United fault. My first time experiencing this but a lot for many others have. Many stories of people getting stranded in Micronesia due to United's down planes and when it comes to reimbursements they offer a $200 travel credit and impossible to get back pre-booked accommodations. United needs to do better! PS: I stop recording cause I saw a lot of frustrated passengers. Imagine being stuck at the Airport for 8 hours and sitting in the plane for a few hours waiting on feedback form El Capatain. #kosrae #micronesia #beautiful #islandlife #travel #discover #adventure
