Operation Amsterdam | AI Action Short Film

This is my newest AI film: Operation Amsterdam. I wanted to capture that Jason Bourne / James Bond-style action feeling, but with a very personal twist: set in my own city, on streets I know by heart, starring the AI clone of my real-life next-door neighbour, Dutch TV host Dyantha Brooks. It started as a small AI experiment and quickly got out of hand. What fascinated me most was the idea that I could create a full-blown action film in Amsterdam without ever blocking a street, staging a real stunt, or bringing in a traditional film crew. With Dyantha’s kind permission, I cloned her likeness and placed her at the centre of a fictional action story. I had a lot of fun making this, especially with the “happy accidents”: those moments where AI doesn’t do exactly what you asked for, but gives you something unexpected that opens up a new idea, a new scene, or even a new direction for the story. This one runs 7 minutes and 45 seconds, longer than the usual scroll, but there’s a reason for that. Operation Amsterdam is out now.
