He Accused me: YOU KILL. Bikepacking Jebel Shams Loop

Cycling the world - Asia: episode 37 I wake up at my campsite near the peak of Jabal Shams and continue along one of the most brutal mountain loops I have ever ridden. The road is relentlessly steep from the very beginning, with endless walls of climbing through remote villages and barren mountains. Progress is painfully slow but by the afternoon I finally complete the loop and descend back into the valley. At a mosque stop for cold water I suddenly learn that the Middle East has exploded into chaos. Events completely outside my control but with consequences that could change the future of this journey. As the sun sets I manage to get some camel meat skewers before continuing into the night searching for a place to camp in Oman once again.
