DIY hard-side rooftop camper build (Ep.1)

Welcome to the first episode in the series: This episode consists of me welding the aluminum base and roof frame as well as the walls and floors. Further, shows the process of fiberglassing and creating foam inserts. This included welding aluminum tubing together for the perimeter of each panel then inserting foam board inside each panel. Fiberglass was used on top of the aluminum in some sections to prevent galvanic corrosion with the carbon fiber. My original inspiration for a rigid camper comes from ‪@OverlandUnderBudget‬ DIY camper build and the hard shell camper proposed. I later saw ‪@redtailoverland‬ utilizing their patented hinge technology 11,130,437 which my original video and design used. Whether you're an avid overlander looking for a new adventure, or simply someone who enjoys DIY projects, you won't want to miss out on this episode of the build! Not claiming patented technology from Redtail as my own. Trying to hone my engineering skills for when I enter my professional career while doing things I enjoy!
