The closing live a/v set from the "EVERY POINT TELLS A STORY" Film fest in The Wattis Theater as part of the "WAVES OF KNOWING" an expansive program curated by SMARTBOMB and held within the SFMOMA on Thursday October 2nd, 2025. This set features live video art by Melanie Marie, being scored in real time with music composed by Zachary James Watkins. Opening/Closing Animation by Justin Tuan Smith. 🌊“WAVES OF KNOWING”💡 is a collective gathering of energy curated by SMARTBOMB and including over 20 Bay Artists sharing performance, visuals, films, poetry and more. Using a San Francisco Art Institute gathering from 1949, The Unknown, as a point of departure “WAVES OF KNOWING” explores the power of collective thought, motion, and creation. Rather than focusing on what is “Unknown” in the future, this experience serves as a reminder, that with openness and presence, we already know the path and can find our way forward together.
