Sesión 08 del "I Ciclo de Formación online de Equipos de EDAR” impartida por ProMinent®

Yesterday afternoon, May 28th, at 4:30 PM (Spanish time), we held the eighth session of the “First Online Training Cycle for Wastewater Treatment Plant Teams,” focusing on the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of polymer preparation systems in wastewater treatment plants. The session, led by Miquel Margalef, Product Manager for disinfection systems at ProMinent®, and titled “Design, Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of Polymer Preparation Systems in Wastewater Treatment Plants,” registered a total of 619 professionals from Spain, Portugal, and Latin America. The training covered the main technical aspects related to the preparation and dosing of polymers in urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants, a key process for optimizing sludge thickening and dewatering, improving hydraulic efficiency, and reducing reagent consumption and operating costs. ProMinent® presented its advanced polymer preparation solutions, highlighting technologies such as ULTROMAT, DULCODOS, and POLYMORE, designed to ensure precise preparation and proper maturation of the polyelectrolyte, preventing the mixing of fresh and matured polymer and guaranteeing optimal dosing. The session provided insights into key criteria for improving process performance and plant reliability, offering practical advice for operators, engineers, and management.
