Ad Hoc Lab: IPv6 Abbreviation and Expansion Practice
OVERVIEW It’s time to put your IPv6 skills to the test! To work effectively with the Cisco CLI, you must be able to convert between expanded and abbreviated IPv6 forms with speed and accuracy. In this "Ad Hoc Lab," I provide two targeted problem sets to help you master these conversions. We will cover: • Problem Set 1: Abbreviating full addresses and identifying the associated Prefix ID. • Problem Set 2: Expanding abbreviated addresses back to their full 32-digit hexadecimal form. HOW TO USE THIS VIDEO I recommend having a pen and paper (or a digital notepad) ready. When the problem sets appear on the screen, *pause the video*, work through the five problems, and then hit play to watch me reveal the answers and explain the logic. ☕️ Buy Me a Coffee https://buymeacoffee.com/wendello 📘 CCNA Official Cert Guide: Volume 1 Chapter 25 Section 2 In Edition 2, for CCNA Blueprint V1.1, Published in 2024 Chapters 00:00 Lab Intro: Why Practice IPv6 Formatting? 00:53 Reviewing the Rules: Abbreviation, Expansion, Prefixes 03:35 Problem Set 1 (Abbreviation) 04:31 Answering Problem Set 1 11:46 Problem Set 2 (Expansion) 12:50 Answering Problem Set 2 Teaching Video Related to This Topic: 📽️ 🏋🏼 • IPv6 Foundations: Abbreviation, Expansion,... ======================================== Product Links Product links below.
