One of the most overdone, overwrought scenes in movie history (The Big Knife, 1955)
This is a scene from one of my favorite movies, The Big Knife from 1955. A lot of people like the movie, but I personally think it is one of the most hilariously overacted movies I've ever seen. For those who aren't familiar with it, it's about an actor who becomes embroiled in scandal and sees his career destroyed after tangling with a powerful elderly studio exec, played by 30-something Rod Steiger.
