Meet Virginia Rose, a birder who started a national movement to introduce people to the joys of birding. Wildlife experts race to restore bighorn sheep to West Texas, capturing them by helicopter and releasing them in the Franklin Mountains. Austin Bat Refuge - 1:20 Austin Texas is home to the largest urban bat colony in the world with one and a half million Mexican free-tailed bats living under the South Congress Avenue bridge. Birdability - 9:21 In cooperation with Travis Audubon, we bring you this special video presentation. Virginia Rose, a passionate advocate for birding accessibility and inclusivity, is the driving force behind Birdability, an initiative dedicated to introducing people with access challenges to birding, making birding sites and festivals more accessible, and ensuring that birding communities are welcoming and inclusive for everybody.
