Removing The Trans for Manual Conversion | E36 swap pt. 2
Several years ago (2022) I started the transmission removed process. The trans cooler, driveshaft, auto trans chip (ECU), auto shifter, trans light bulb (cluster), dropped the exhaust, and removed the brake pedal assembly. Fast forward to today (2026), the e36 has been left in the same place where I last worked on it (removing the transmission). I will be continuing the swap after all of these years later.
