The Stranglers Old JD800 - Now Restored!
This is a JD800 that used to belong to The Stranglers. It's taken me over 2 years to restore (getting the parts is a nightmare) and I've had to create my own circuit boards to get it to work. Anyway, here's the synth in action with some of the Stranglers sounds - with mistakes as well and my little fat fingers going hell for leather. I promised the band that I wouldn't give out copies or samples of the sounds, so please don't ask for copies. No funky chicken in this video I'm afraid. I'll have something for him to do in a while....!!!!
