Wasabi 2 Kit Overview in its ARF version. The Wasabi 2 is visually and aerodynamically distinct from its predecessor. While retaining a 3-meter wingspan, it features a more tapered wing with slight sweep for improved stability. New airfoils by Dirk Pflug aim to enhance roll agility and overall speed, even in light conditions, while preserving good lift. The fuselage has been refined with a slimmer front, a nose shortened by about 3 cm to reduce pitching moment, and a more streamlined rear with improved access to control linkages. The structure is reinforced, wiring is integrated through the wing spar, and ballast options now include wing and joiner compartments. Five different layup versions are available, covering uses from lightweight sport flying to dynamic soaring. The kit arrives well protected and exhibits outstanding rigidity, molding, paint quality, and perfect component fit. It comes pre-wired with green MPX connectors and an LDS system, with several configuration options at order time, including ballast, covers, and assembly level. The ARF version chosen here is highly advanced, with premium MKS servos and top-quality hardware already installed, allowing final assembly in under two hours.
