Tea and Flowers - behind the scenes of our newest reduction fired ceramics collection
For the last six week's we've been collecting footage of some of the processes that have gone into the making of our new collection. This new body of work is a continuation of our usual work, but focusses more on expression, character and experimentation, with each piece being fired in reduction, in the Yorkshire Artspace's gas kiln in June 2026. Main themes in our making have been using porcelain inlay, facets and creating beautiful pouring vessels. We have made some special teapots, tea caddies and lots of pieces intended for flower arranging.
