Mighty Tonka Turbo-Diesel Excavator Restoration

I bought this thing a number of years ago and have been waiting to restore it for a video. I knew I could restore everything on this Mighty Tonka Excavator (backhoe ?), but the only problem was that I couldn't find replacement windshields ANYWHERE. All of the tonka restoration parts suppliers sell window replacements for most Tonkas and Mighty Tonkas, but none of them fit this model. One of the parts sellers even stated on their website that they specifically do not sell this windshield and they didn't know of anyone else who did either. But where there's a will, there's a way. I figured it out. If you can't find something you want, make it yourself. This project was fun, but I'm ready to get back to the Jeep. I've done a lot of work behind the scenes on this (not) forgotten project and recorded most of it, so get ready for more videos this summer. There might be one more non Jeep related video coming out in the next month or so, but everything after that will be Jeep related.
