Non legato: how can I play it on the piano? 논 레가토 주법
Playing Baroque music is difficult as we need to play it in non-legato style. It took me a long time to get used to it. I think I learned it properly when learning the organ over the years. Here on the piano I tried to explain it using a couple of works from Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)'s compositions. I hope this video helps. I studied at Yale University, Boston University, and Humboldt University in Berlin. Currently I teach at Biola University and Vanguard University while serving as organist at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California. Pieces played: J. S. Bach's Invention No. 8 in F major, BWV779 J. S. Bach's French Suite No. 6 in E major, Allemande, BWV 817 Get connected: email: [email protected] instagram: / jungorgan website: http://www.musicmissioninternational.org spotify: http://www.spotify.com/Jung-A Lee phone: 949-300-1205 in-person and online lessons are accepted.
