⚡ RENAULT EVOLVES ITS ELECTRIC MÉGANE! Discover the all-new 2026 Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric in this video, a significant facelift that brings a more assertive design, a new, more powerful battery, more onboard technology, and an even more refined electric driving experience. Launched in 2022 as a pioneer of Renault's new generation of electric vehicles, the Mégane E-Tech Electric returns with the ambition of remaining a benchmark among electric compact cars on the market. On the exterior, Renault has significantly redesigned the front end with a new bumper, a redesigned grille, and a unique lighting signature composed of eight LED diamonds. At the rear, the taillights adopt new 3D technology, while the car gains a more prominent presence thanks to a slightly raised silhouette. A new Satin Blue color is also available. Under the hood, the major innovation is the arrival of a 67 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery using an innovative Cell-to-Pack architecture. This upgrade allows for a WLTP range of up to 500 km while also improving charging performance. Fast charging power now reaches 165 kW, enabling a charge from 15% to 80% in just 24 minutes. The Mégane also retains its standard 11 kW AC charger and can be equipped with an optional 22 kW charger. The electric motor still delivers 220 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Performance remains strong, with a claimed 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h. Renault also announces that it has reworked the chassis, suspension, and steering to preserve the dynamic qualities that have made the model so successful. The dedicated platform retains its multi-link rear suspension and low center of gravity. Inside, the Mégane still benefits from the spectacular OpenR system with its 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12-inch multimedia screen. Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play are integrated as standard. A major new feature is the arrival of Google Gemini, Google's conversational AI capable of interacting naturally with the driver. Connectivity is also enhanced with a 3-year included in-car internet service, allowing direct access to apps and streaming without tethering. Other new features include: driver facial recognition, Qi2/MagSafe wireless charging, adaptive Smart mode, One Pedal function, V2L charging for charging electrical devices, and V2G feeding energy back into the grid. Safety is enhanced with over 30 driver assistance features, including improved adaptive cruise control, emergency stop assist, a predictive eco-driving system, and the Safety Score and Safety Coach functions. Made in France in Douai with an engine produced in Cléon, this new 2026 Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric aims to compete with the best electric compact cars on the market.
