jarjar travels - 1-day trip to Kulai Johor. 小罐子柔佛古来一日游

Many Singaporeans go to Johor Bahru for food, shopping or simply chill out. Having been going to Bukit Indah umpteen times, I decided to check out Kulai, a small town slightly further up north from JB. Kulai is another one of those laid-back towns of Malaysia. It is easy to get there by car and the food places, shopping malls and attractions are easy to find. I only spent half a day at Kulai and so had limited time to check out the place, but I was pleasantly surprised with the local food and the friendliness of the locals. I returned the next morning (not planned) for breakfast, tea break and lunch before returning to Singapore. Kulai gave me a very good first impression. I would definitely go back there again.
