Building a bathroom on a narrowboat - Boating On A Budget

Arguably the MOST IMPORTANT room on the boat - and the smallest and trickiest to work in (and film in!) - is the bathroom. Today we start the task of lining it with wet wall and installing the shower... It was all going to plan and then a supply problem with one of the parts threw a spanner in the works... But hey no one said building a boat would be easy or straightforward! Here's a bit about us and our boats... In August 2019 we bought narrowboat - a 1980s Springer that's 36ft long and had previously been sunk twice prior to us purchasing it! It's engine was rather poorly so we took it out and fitted a DIY self build Electric Drive system - which we recorded and made vlogs about (available to view on YouTube). Move forward a year from buying that boat and we were loving life on the water so much we wanted a bigger boat so we could move aboard full time. So we bought 'Lyanda Lady' a 50ft boat that needed a LOT of work. This series is following us stripping the boat right back to a basic shell.
