Montgomery County firefighters concerned about possible staffing changes
The Montgomery County Fire Chief is looking at stations around the county to pull employees from in order to better utilize resources. One of them is the Hyattstown Volunteer Fire Department in Clarksburg, Maryland. The fire chief is looking at this station in particular because it has a low call volume and he can cover the changes with assistance from the nearby Clarksburg Fire Station, which is a little over three miles away.
