My G63 is Now a RENNtech BEAST! | Dyno Run

My G63 is now an absolute beast making crazy power thanks to a tune from RENNtech! Let's put it on the dyno with the new upgrade and Akrapovic Evolution Titanium exhaust to see what power it's making! You might be quite surprised by the numbers... Visiting REM Motorsport near to the Nurburgring to put the G Wagon onto the dyno, we can compare the various different stages. With a run already completed of a stock new model G63, the first test is to see the initial gains that come as a direct result of the Akrapovic exhaust and the linkpipe, both from titanium and forming the Evolution exhaust system. The initial numbers are quoted at 585hp and 850nm but even a stock car ran to 626hp and 930nm - quite significantly stronger than quoted! However, with the Akrapovic system we recorded 669hp and 995nm! Next up comes a RENNtech tune; programmed from the RENNtech Handheld Tuner to see what's possible and where it can reach. The beauty of the system is that it enables quick changing from stock to tuned just by connecting into the OBD port. Running again then the numbers are incredible; up to 727hp and 1068nm, unbelievable for a G Wagon! It feels like I need to take the G63 to a drag race, I suspect that despite it's 2,550kg weight it would still leave a lot of cars standing that you wouldn't expect.
