Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV - Getting More Electric Kms

A summer update on my PHEV. No Mitsubishi did not get me a new battery. No they did not even do a proper reset. However the car is back to working. I am no longer having frequent engine starts and I am getting over 40kms per charge...even with only 75% battery capacity. So the question is was it their failed update attempt that may have reset something or was it the changing of the auto defrost setting to Off. I'm not sure. Stay tuned as I am still after a new battery and we all want to see how this customer service fiasco turns out.
