One of the most significant patches ever released for Battlefield 6 will arrive on June 30th, with changes that will almost make it feel like Battlefield 6 2.0. Many are just looking at the numbers: recoil, spread, bullet velocity, and body multipliers. But in my opinion, the real change lies elsewhere. This patch changes the philosophy of gunplay and the type of player Battlefield will begin to reward. In this video, we analyze in detail all the changes announced by EA, from the new recoil and spread system to the new body multipliers, including the bullet velocity reduction, and the impact these changes will have on the meta and the various weapon categories, especially Snipers. We'll also discuss skill gaps, weapon identity, burst management, average TTK, new balances between weapon categories, and why I believe Battlefield 6, starting June 30th, will enter a completely different phase than we've seen so far.
