Madlanga Commission rule on in-camera testimony
Madlanga Commission chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga rules on an application by Witness M to have their testimony heard in camera. The witness has asked the Commission to close proceedings to the public, saying their evidence contains sensitive information involving heads of state, drug syndicates, crime families, politically connected individuals and law enforcement officials. On Tuesday, the Commission heard evidence that alleges a quid prop quo relationship - allegedly between Crime Intelligence Official, Major-General Feroz Khan and EFF Leader, Julius Malema with private businessman Mohammed "Mo" Sayed serving as an alleged intermediary.
