So, I'd like to introduce some of the amazing gear I use for photography. Main camera: Mirrorless Canon EOS R6 BODY I fell in love with the versatility of the EOS R and have become a full-fledged Canon user. With the R6, I've finally achieved the low-light performance I've been longing for, especially since I mostly shoot in natural light and indoors. Plus, the autofocus has gotten smarter, and I'm very happy with the eye AF and head AF. Maybe the C70 next? https://amzn.to/36Ci63u Former main camera, mirrorless camera: Canon EOS R BODY I tested it in Spain and was so impressed with the image quality and ease of use that I switched to a new main camera. Finally, I've finally got the full-frame I've always wanted. Even when shooting in full auto mode, it's much more stable and delivers the image I'm aiming for than the GH4, which requires manual fine-tuning. It's a truly reliable ally. https://amzn.to/2Kgp9Fb Main lens: Canon RF24-105mm F4L IS USM I was debating between this and the F2, but the F2 was too blurry for video, so I went with this lens with a moderate F4 and a slightly wider angle. https://amzn.to/2KeEhCO Former main camera, mirrorless camera: PANASONIC DMC-GH5 I was looking for a small, lightweight camera for traveling by motorcycle, and I found this one. It's a DSLR that's specialized for video. I don't use it much for photography, but I highly recommend it for video. I'm using an older GH4, and while its image quality isn't as good as the GH5's, it's compact, lightweight, and easy to handle. But I want the GH5 and GH5S. https://amzn.to/2MdkgPC Main lens for my former main camera: PANASONIC LEICA VARIO-ELMARIT 12-60mm/F2.8-4.0 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. H-ES12060 The easiest way to get closer to the Leica I covet is to choose a Panasonic body. I love its warm, yet not harsh, colors, the exquisite balance of resolution and depth, and the unique, beautiful image quality. The 12mm wide-angle and 60mm telephoto lenses make it versatile for everything from talk videos to product photography. I also have a LEICA prime lens, but I use that one all the time. https://amzn.to/2Mdg42B Sennheiser MKE600 Gun Microphone for Main Camera (with Adapter Cable KA600) I started out using a different one, but I wanted a higher-performance microphone to record clearer audio, so I settled on this one, a favorite among YouTubers worldwide. It's expensive, but it offers excellent performance, and if you're looking for mobility when paired with a DSLR, this is it. If the conversation is important, you want clear audio recordings. https://amzn.to/2B2ihsj SONY FDR-X3000 Action Camera This action camera has excellent spatial optical image stabilization, making it the only one I need for motovlogging. It eliminates bike vibrations and even shaking your face when attached to a helmet. It works so well that it almost feels like it was designed for motovlogging. https://amzn.to/2B2HkeV ・Action Cam GoPro HERO7 Black After talking about the merits of the FDR-X3000 above, I wanted to try something new, so I went for my second GoPro in a few years. While the FDR-X3000 can take stunningly beautiful photos under certain conditions, the GoPro HERO7 Black is actually more versatile. However, I think the GoPro HERO7 Black is surprisingly easy to use and can be easily tossed around for handheld travel videos, and the results are surprisingly good. https://amzn.to/2QrRkRv ↓ New! I bought a GoPro HERO8. https://amzn.to/33bfwOn ・Sub-camera, compact digital camera SONY DSC-RX100M5 The image quality is unbelievable for a compact digital camera, and the built-in microphone is quite good. I use the M4, but the M5 is my successor. When I want to go hands-free and don't want to carry a DSLR, this is all I need. It can shoot 4K and FHD 60FPS, which is a plus. https://amzn.to/2vZBg13 SONY HDR-MV1 Re...
