Η “Αλβανία” είναι ένα ταξίδι ανάμεσα στη μνήμη και τη στιγμή. Μια ακατέργαστη, αυθόρμητη συνομιλία, διαμορφωμένη από τον βαρύ ρυθμικό παλμό της Ηπείρου και την ελευθερία του σύγχρονου αυτοσχεδιασμού. Μαζί, εξερευνούμε τα όρια του ελληνικού αυτοσχεδιαστικού ιδιώματος μέσα από τη λογική των jazz standards, ανακαλύπτοντας ξανά μοτίβα της υπαίθρου, "λυγίζοντας" τον χρόνο μέσα από ρυθμικό διάλογο και αφήνοντας το παραδοσιακό υλικό να ξετυλιχτεί. Α raw, spontaneous conversation shaped by the deep rhythmic pulse of Greek folk music and the freedom of modern improvisation. Together, we explore the Greek improvisational idiom through the logic of jazz standards, rediscovering motifs from the Greek countryside, bending time through rhythmic dialogue, and allowing the traditional material to unfold organically. The Men in Exile are Panos Skouteris on the clarinet, Thodoris Ziarkas on the double bass & Manousos Klapakis on the percussion.
