SOLO JAPAN | Jacob Emile

Part 1 of my Japan trip… and yes, I know this is slightly overdue. I filmed this back in January, just before things in my personal life shifted quite a bit, and if I’m honest I just haven’t had the headspace to sit down and edit it until now — so thank you for waiting. This video is the beginning of my solo trip to Japan. Flying with British Airways, landing in Tokyo, and spending a few days easing into the city — seeing friends, wandering, eating very well, and attempting to romanticise my life in a way that feels both cinematic and mildly delusional. It’s slower, a bit more personal, and very much a snapshot of a moment in time that feels quite different watching it back now.
