CFNY Canada Day Festival, July 1, 1991 - Teenage Head

Veteran Canadian punks, Teenage Head as recorded live by YTV from the 5th CFNY Canada Day Festival. Over 30,000 people showed up annually at Molson Park in Barrie for a full days line-up of mostly Canadian bands. Hosted by CFNY personality Dani Elwell and YTV's Laurie Hibberd and Michael Q. Dani is still in broadcasting, most recently at Jazzcast.ca, Laurie Hibberd, now a US TV personality, married Gelman, producer of Live with Regis and Kelly and Michael Q(uast) is a VP of a technology company. Teenage Head were actually pre-punks as they formed in 1975, before the punk movement took hold. Lead singer Frankie Venom passed away in 2008 and the band still do occasional gigs with original lead singer Dave Rave.
