King of the Monsters 2 MD Speedrun WR 14:56 (Any%)

Played on Fusion 3.64 using a 6 Button Sega Genesis USB pad. This turned out to be a pretty decent run, but obviously it can be vastly improved. I should first mention that Claw Head is the best character for speedrunning this game. However, its best moves are rather difficult to perform, especially the command grab that damages Claw Head and the opponent. The most optimal round would be to stun the opponent as soon as possible, land the multi-projectile attack up-close, then immediately grab to win. Knowing the dizzy values of each attack and the monsters helped a ton, though I think I had one moment where I couldn't tell if the opponent was dizzy or not. I would have had a much easier time performing Claw Head's moves on Joystick or Keyboard, but I figured I'd mind as well play on pad since I don't have any converters for my Sega joysticks (and Keyboard wouldn't feel natural for a Genesis game). Besides, I do wanna attempt this again in the future on real hardware. Unfortunately I've been having issues recording from my Model 2 Genesis, so that will have to wait.
