The magnesium and calcium in magnesium lime are poorly soluble in water, but they dissolve in citric acid or acetic acid. Therefore, you can make your own solution by adding vinegar or citric acid solution to the magnesium lime. Use this supernatant liquid at a dilution of 100-200 times. For foliar application, try a dilution of 200-500 times. Some videos show lime being sprinkled on tomatoes.
