Ejercicios de Manos para Flexibilidad y Artritis

Hand exercises help maintain and improve joint flexibility and hand range of motion for everyone, especially those with arthritis. These exercises are based on the exercises recommended by the renowned Mayo Clinic in the USA. We'll do them with you in real time so we can do them together on the days you'll be using them. Remember, do them slowly and gently without causing stress or pain, and do them as part of your exercise or stretching routine. Every day you'll notice an improvement in agility and relief. Hand in a neutral, relaxed position with fingers and thumb stretched out. 1. Bend your thumb over the palm of your hand, touching the tip of your thumb with the bottom of your little finger. If you can't touch your thumb, simply stretch it as far as you can. Return your thumb to the starting position. **Repeat this exercise 5 times with each hand. The following exercises begin with your hand and fingers straight and together. 2. Bend the end and middle joints of your fingers. Keep your knuckles straight. Slowly return to the starting position. **If possible, repeat 5 times on each hand. 3. Gently curl your fingers into a C shape. Return to the starting position. **Repeat 5 times on each hand. 4. Form an O by touching your thumb to each finger. Touch your index finger to your thumb, then move to your middle, ring, and little fingers. **Repeat 5 times on each hand. 5. Make a Spock salute from Star Trek. Place your hand on a flat surface, such as a table, with your palm facing down. Move your thumb away from your hand. Starting with your index finger, move it up and toward your thumb. Continue moving your middle, ring, and little fingers one at a time up and toward your thumb. **Repeat 5 times on each hand.
