Why This New Breakthrough Spoiler Works

In this video, we look at the aerodynamics of a new way of making car rear spoilers - recently, spoilers have featured slits in them. We wanted to see what their effects on the downforce and drag are, so we simulated the Hyundai Ioniq 5N with and without them. Using identical simulation conditions, we compare at different: Velocity, pressure, and streamline behavior Where lift is generated Where drag is produced Where the noise is produced Want your own car simulated?
