주차한 전기차가 전기를 판다|제주에서 시작된 ‘자동차 발전소’의 충격적 반전
Cars used to be items that cost money the moment they were parked. However, in Jeju, parked Ioniq 9s and EV9s are currently charging with surplus wind and solar power during the day and sending it back to the grid in the evening. This technology is called V2G, or "Vehicle to Grid." A single electric vehicle contains a large battery capable of supplying power to an average household for several days to about ten days. If 100,000 electric vehicles nationwide were to supply power simultaneously, theoretically, they could generate instantaneous output equivalent to a single nuclear power plant. However, there is a surprising twist. Although the demonstration vehicles in Jeju are actually sending electricity to the grid, the cash received by the owners for selling the electricity is still zero won. This is not due to a lack of technology. It is because the laws and pricing systems determining who buys the electricity sent by private vehicles, how much to settle the payment for, and how to share the profits have not yet been finalized. It is a situation where the technology has already arrived, but the laws have not yet caught up. In this video, we take a detailed look at the differences between V2G and V2L, the actual scale of the Ioniq 9 and EV9 batteries, the debate over battery lifespan, commercialization cases in the UK, France, and China, the reasons why domestic car owners are not yet receiving payment, and the potential for electric vehicles to evolve into virtual power plants. In a few years, will we be able to look at a parked electric vehicle and say, "That car is working right now"? Please leave your thoughts in the comments. Subscribing and liking this video is a great help in creating the next one. #EV #V2G #Ioniq9 #EV9 #HyundaiMotor #KiaMotor #JejuIsland #EVCharging #BidirectionalCharging #PowerGrid #VirtualPowerPlant #VPP #RenewableEnergy #WindPower #SolarPower #Battery #ElectricityBill #KEPCO #FutureAutomotive #AutomotiveTechnology #DistributedEnergy #EVBattery #EnergyStorageSystem #ESS #KoreanTechnology
