What Makes this Puzzle Game Different? ft @FauxRetro

This is how Cocoon gave me self confidence to tackle my backlog of puzzle games. Not just my Game of the Year 2023, Cocoon is a perfect puzzle game. In Cocoon, Jeppe Carlsen does something that Inside and Limbo never could. What is Cocoon? Well it's not Pizza Tower. Cocoon teaches self confidence through immersion and hidden tutorials. It's simple and minimalist in its puzzle game design while also being a Lovecraft meets Giger horror experience. So... what is Coccoon? It's perfection in its simplicity. Earning my GOTY 2023 (Game of the Year 2023) title. The puzzles in Cocoon may not be hard, but their immersive and prioritize discovery. This indie game is wonderful and deserves more video essay content made around it. What is Cocoon? Well... Play Cocoon! And no there is no mention of the Pizza Tower vs Cocoon thing... because what?
