This opens up a wide range of possible causes, as well as an exciting and intense #DomoAdventure for the new season! :) The technical procedure to follow is as follows: 1. We identify the type of panel: whether it works conventionally with 5 wires or digitally with 2 wires. We can tell by pressing the button and listening for the tone. With 2 wires, the caller ID on the panel is three-tone, and with 5 wires, it's a single tone. 2. Check for power by verifying that the LED indicator on the push button is lit and that the LEDs illuminating the keypad's card readers light up when pressed. 3. Test the ringtone by pressing the button on several neighbors' phones. Take advantage of the fact that you can call them all, and it's your responsibility to check the status of each call without getting called "DomoGamberro" (a derogatory term for a neighbor). 4. Wait patiently to speak with a neighbor to verify two-way communication, or what the manual refers to as "Two-way audio," meaning they can hear you on their phones and you can hear them on the panel. 5. Don't forget to ask the neighbor to open their door to check that the door opener is working correctly. 6. Carefully open the panel and check the connections and the voltage between the terminals. 7. Check the power supply by taking measurements with your clamp meter. This power source is usually located in the meter room. 8. Check the door opening mechanism, which is activated from inside the building by a push button typically located near the exit. Quite a task! :P 9.
